USING DUTCH ME

Terms

The important rules for keeping shared records accurate, private and useful.

Effective 14 August 2026

01

Bookkeeping service only

Dutch Me helps people keep shared-expense records. It is not a bank, wallet, payment processor or financial adviser. Suggested repayments and user-entered references do not prove that money moved.

02

Your responsibilities

Provide accurate information, invite only people you are entitled to contact, protect your sign-in codes and confirm an external payment only when you actually received it. Do not upload unlawful, harmful or misleading content.

03

Shared records

Expenses, refunds and receiver-confirmed external-payment records affect a shared ledger. Confirmed records cannot be reversed by one participant. Correct mistakes before confirmation or contact support if a confirmed shared record requires investigation.

04

Availability and changes

The service may change, pause or discontinue features while Dutch Me is being improved. Reasonable care is taken to protect data and calculations, but you should review important records and keep any copies you need.

05

Account deletion

You may permanently delete your account from Profile after satisfying shared-ledger safeguards. Your authentication identity and direct profile details are removed. An anonymized record may remain where necessary to preserve other participants’ shared ledger and append-only audit history.
