Delete directly in the app

Open Dutch Me, choose Profile, then Delete account. Read the explanation, enter the email address of the signed-in account and confirm permanent deletion. The app signs you out when deletion succeeds.

Resolve shared-ledger safeguards first

Before deletion, transfer ownership of every group you own, cancel or finish every open external-payment record, and settle or correct every non-zero group or standalone-meetup balance. These checks protect the records of other participants.

What is deleted

Dutch Me deletes your authentication identity, removes your direct profile details, removes invitations addressed to your email and ends your active memberships. Your old profile is no longer available as an active account.

What may remain

Shared expenses, refunds, receipts and audit records may remain where other participants rely on them. Your retained profile reference is anonymized as “Deleted user”. Delete any eligible receipts you do not want retained before deleting the account.
